Terms and Conditions

Introduction

These terms and conditions govern the use of Pimlico Driving School's services. By enrolling in our driving school or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Lesson Bookings

  • All driving lesson bookings must be made in advance through our designated booking system.

  • Lessons can be booked online, over the phone, or in person at our office.

  • Lesson bookings are subject to availability.

  • You need to be at least 17 years old to book driving lessons.

  • You need to at least hold a UK provisional driving licence.

  • International driving licence holders must also hold a provisional driving licence unless they have been residing in the UK for less than a year.

  • Before the first driving lesson, you should visit https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence to get a licence check code and send it to your Approved Driving Instructor.

Lesson Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you must provide at least 3 days of notice before the driving lesson.

  • Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in no refund for that lesson.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests can be directly made through your Approved Driving Instructor.

Lesson Duration and Payments

  • Each driving lesson will have a specified duration, as agreed upon during the booking process.

  • It is important to be on time for your lesson to ensure you receive the full allocated time.

  • Lesson Payments

  • Lesson fees must be paid in full well before each lesson.

  • We accept payment through cash, credit/debit cards, or other agreed-upon methods.

  • Pimlico Driving School will not take any responsibility for the payments made directly to the driving instructor.

Practical Test Day Car Booking

• Driving Instructor and the pupil will work together to be fully prepared for the practical driving test day.
• Driving Instructor will not take the pupil for the test if pupil is not ready which will be coordinated with the pupil well ahead before the practical driving test day.
• Pupil will be asked well ahead to change practical driving test day if not ready.
• Allocated time for practical dr
iving test day is 3 hours:
• One hour to test
• One hour for test
• One hour to come back
• Pupil will drive to test.
• Driving Instructor will drive back from the test centre.
• Anything more than 3 hours will be charged.
• Please plan this with your Driving Instructor well ahead of your practical driving test date and time.

Complaint Handling Procedure

At Pimlico Driving School, we have very high quality services, so if you have any complaints or issues with a driving instructor, you may let us know and it will be investigated and will be kept confidential.

Data Protection

At Pimlico Driving School, we keep all your data private and confidential. You may at any time contact us if you would like us to delete your data. We will hold all your data according to the Data Protection Act 1998.
