Driving Lessons for
Overseas License Holders

An international driving licence, also known as an international driving permit, is a document that allows an individual to drive a motor vehicle in a foreign country. It serves as a translation of the individual’s native driver’s licence into multiple languages, making it easier for authorities in other countries to understand the driver’s qualifications.

The international driving licence is typically issued by the driver’s home country and is valid for a limited period of 1 year. It is important to note that an international driving licence is not a standalone document and must be used in conjunction with the driver’s original licence. You are only allowed to drive in the UK for 1 year from date of entry with your international driving license. How to Apply for UK Provisional driving license?
